We Need Your Help
We do not receive any licence fees, government subsidies or funding from any NGO’s. We rely on advertising, donations and fund raising activities to fund our operations. Major or national companies do not advertise with community radio. They tend to choose the commercial radio stations. The only advertising support we receive is from local and regional businesses.
Hindvani has in the past few years become very popular because of its programming and music, which appeals to a large part of Indian population.
We broadcast from our basic studios in Kharwastan, and have about 100 volunteers as announcers, producers and management.
The funds raised from our fund raising drives would be used for purchasing and fitting out an Outside broadcast Unit, installing a new studio in Pietermaritzburg and upgrading our present studio in Kharwastan. This will significantly improve our service delivery to you our listeners and create a professional environment for our volunteers to broadcast from.
We appeal to you to donate any amount to this project, so that we can realise our objectives.

LETTER OF APPEAL
Hindvani, your favourite radio Station has been broadcasting for 12 years. We have improved our signal strength in the Durban area and kept our promise to extend our broadcasts to Pietermaritzburg. This is the first time in our history that we have embarked a major fundraising drive.
